Yes, yes it will. Take that, everyone who says sports cars shouldn't be driven by travelling machinists!
(People say that, right?)
No pics, and it really wasn't that huge of a drill press, but it fit just fine.
Very first pi I took of her, stopped on the test drive to have a thorough look around under her hood.
Step 1: Fold driver seat all the way forwards, recline the passenger seat all the way back.
Step 2: Stick the drill press, top end first, into the car through the passenger's door.
Step 3: Swing the base into the passenger's footwell, swing the top end back vaguely in line with where the passenger would sit.
Step 4: ????
Step 5: PROFIT!!!
Step 6: Reinst- wait - removal is opposite of installation
In Part 2 of this new series, we take a Bridgeport lathe and a Morgan 3-wheeler!

I'm still figuring all of the logistics for moving a Series 1 Bridgeport with my Ranger.

I'm really hoping you either have an overhead hoist/chainblock, or own a forklift...

We've moved it before with a comealong and a rental forklift. My dad even moved his 3 tom CNC mill about 10' with a digging bar. My problem is finding a rental trailer that will do the job.

Just don't forget that they are exponentially more stable in transit with the knee all the way down (resting on a block of some kind so as not to blow out the bronze feed nut if you hit a good bump) and the head flipped upside down!
You can also take the head and ram off and throw them in the bed so you just have to tie down the base/knee/table.
